Abstract:
In the dynamic and demanding world of academia, faculty members are constantly having multiple responsibilities, from teaching and research to administrative duties and committee work. Their schedules are often packed, leaving them with little time to spare. Recognizing the importance of time management in this hectic routine, the implementation of a dedicated application designed to foster collaboration between Comsats faculty members and various services of the university can be a game-changer. In Comsats the problem is that the distance is more from faculty block to the cafeteria and library which takes a lot of their time to get something.
This innovative application serves as a central hub that connects faculty members with essential university services, including the library, cafeteria, juice corner, and BBQ point. With a few clicks on their smartphone’s faculty can initiate a range of requests, transforming their daily routines for the better.
This app will also make it possible for the cafeteria staff to update the menu on the app in real-time. Faculty members can order food through the app, and a helper (naib qasid) will bring the food to them. This way, faculty members don't waste time waiting in line, and everything becomes more convenient for them.
One of the standout features of this application is its ability to streamline the process of finding resources in the university library. Instead of wasting precious time searching through shelves, faculty can simply request a book through the app. The library staff can then locate the book and have it ready for pickup, allowing faculty members to make the most of their valuable time.
