Abstract:
The present study focused on Effect of Korean Dramas on Female’s Body Image, Antisocial and Paranoid Behavior. The sample for this study was 300 females collected from the colleges in Lahore. Self-report measures including the demographic questionnaire, The Body Esteem Scale for Adolescents and Adults and antisocial and paranoid behavior questionnaire taken from the scale personal belief questionnaire were used. Self-devised questionnaire was used to access the level of Korean drama exposure. Analysis demonstrated the frequencies of females who agreed or disagreed with the scale’s statement. The analysis reviled that most of that exposure to Korean dramas is associated with lower body esteem and increased antisocial and paranoid behavior among female viewers. Furthermore, the results suggested that antisocial behavior mediates the relationship between exposure to Korean dramas and body esteem
