Abstract:
The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of employees' emotional intelligence on success of project by taking innovative work behavior as a mediator. The analysis was performed through correlation matrix, reliability analysis, and regression analysis. The sample size of current study was two hundred employees of project based organizations of Lahore, Pakistan. The results show that the emotional intelligence has significant relationship with the success of the project. Moreover, the IWB mediated the relationship among emotional intelligence and project success. The outcomes of current study will help practitioners to pay attention on the EI of employees which will lead to more efficient in the workplace which is essential for project success. Furthermore, the IWB among employees is crucial in attaining the maintenance and effectiveness of the association in order to achieve project success. The results of current study are helpful the top management that must comprehend the significance of emotional intelligence and IWB of project employees, which can boost success of project in difficult situation in project.
