The combination of these materials creates a unique electrochemical platform that offers enhanced sensitivity and selectivity for the detection of neurotransmitters, which are crucial biomarkers in diagnosing neurological diseases. The research involved synthesizing and analyzing Co3O4 nanoparticles, Co3O4-Fe2O3 (3:1) nanocomposites, Co3O4-Fe2O3-CS (3:1:2%) nanobiocomposites, and Co3O4-Fe2O3-CS (3:1:1%) nanobiocomposites. The nanobiocomposites, designed for neurotransmitter detection, specifically Norepinephrine, were thoroughly characterized and evaluated using a range of analytical techniques. These included X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Raman Spectroscopy, Ultraviolet-Visible Spectroscopy (UV), Cyclic Voltammetry (CV), Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), and Differential Pulse Voltammetry (DPV). The analyses provided valuable insights into the structural, morphological, and electrochemical properties of the fabricated nanobiocomposite electrode. These findings demonstrate its potential for accurately detecting Norepinephrine in biological samples with high sensitivity and selectivity.enDepartment of Physicsfa22NATURAL SCIENCES::PhysicsNeurotransmitters Detection ApplicationTernary Nanobiocomposite ElectrodeCo3O4-Fe2O3-ChitosanFabrication and Characterization of Co3O4-Fe2O3-Chitosan Ternary Nanobiocomposite Electrode for Neurotransmitters Detection ApplicationsThesis
