In Hybrid ion conduction we required the material which is suitable for the movement of oxide ion and protonic ion. Therefore, in this research work, composite materials based on ionic (SDC-alkali carbonates) and electronic (LNZ) conductor are mix by using ball milling in percentage proportion of 50:50, 20:80, 40:60, 60:40 and 80:20 are developed for the fuel cell by co- precipitation and solid state reaction method and then hybrid ion conduction of the prepared composite material are studied. It is analyzed that the composite material is based on the 60 wt.% LNZ and 40 wt.% (LN-SDC) has maximum ionic and electronic conduction. As this composite material has maximum conductivity 2.29 Scm-1 at (6500C-6700C) and highest power density 420mWcm-2. The structural properties of prepared composite materials are analyzed by X- Ray diffraction (XRD) (crystalline structure with two phases i.e. cubic and hexagonal wurtzite with average crystallite size of 64 nm).So it can analyze that the ionc and electronic conduction play some key role in fuel cell functions and fuel- electricity conversion.enDepartment of PhysicsFA17PhysicsRole of Hybrid Ion ConductionSingle Layer Fuel CellDr. Muhammad Ashfaq AhmadThe Role of Hybrid Ion Conduction in a Single Layer Fuel CellThesis
