dc.description.abstract ABSTRACT Form has an ability to express and portray the identity, that by looking at some building you got the idea of its presence and history. And your mind and memory will tell you about its value and importance. Form can portray the identity of culture, region, and its area as well. Every culture and region have its own identity and it shows by its architecture, their way of life, their activities and their norms. Tradition and modernity plays a vital role in portraying the identity of any place. In our country, the cities like Lahore we have our traditional architecture and a bit of modernity as well. This shows that we accept our traditions but we also want to improve and go with the contemporary elements in architecture of the world. We want our self to be progressive and modernize at the same time we present our national pride and culture as well. Nationalistic aspect further deals with the relation of form and identity that every country have its own culture and norms, even sports have the important part of any country and culture, and that sports shows the culture of that area. It shows the character, culture and tradition of any nation in it, as nations and people wanted to show themselves to the world with increasing modern development. The need urges to overcome these effects quickly to make the architecture beneficial and sustainable for the society. en_US
