dc.description.abstract This research investigates the portrayal of female characters, the extent to which they are dependent on male equivalents, and the many ways in which language is used to address women. In order to conduct a study of the data that was gathered from Daniyal Mueenuddin's book In other Rooms, Other Wonders, feminist critical discourse analysis and feminist stylistic analysis are utilized. Findings indicate that modern culture is extremely challenging for a woman, regardless of whether she is a housewife or a working professional; she must contend with difficulties in every aspect of her life. en_US
