Abstract

In compiling this report I have intended to provide a synthesis of theoretical approaches and their implementation in the business world. I have tried to explore the relationship between theoretical and practical types of knowledge and bridge the gap between theoretical assumptions and practical needs. Throughout our academic studies we are engaged in theoretical learning where the primary objective is academic success. A comprehensive knowledge of the modern business field can be acquired only through the practical implementation of the theoretical concepts, which we learn through our educational activities. Many important personal decisions are financial. Paying for a house or an automobile are two great examples, but even everyday decisions like planning a budget, opening a checking account, or investing require knowledge of finance. There are many companies that specialize in finance. The main concern for most of these firms is to raise funds from those who have a surplus of funds and to invest in firms that need funds. I apologize if any mistakes are found as none of those were intentional. I feel that the purpose of this report has been fulfilled if it has been useful in providing information to any person, regarding CBL.
