| dc.description.abstract |
We give an expository survey on the algebraic criterion of shellability of simplicial
complexes and multicomplexes. We discuss the shellability of simplicial complexes in
facet ideal theory. Most importantly, we give an algebraic criterion for shellability in
the case of pure one dimensional simplicial complexes. |
