Abstract

2. My internship report is about my work and task that I have performed in Discover Pakistan in News Room department. I would add some things here in my report .I get to know that how the news room department works. Like other departments .News Department is very important segment of the organization. News Room plays very important part in the organization as it covers every thing regarding the news. I try to mention here the important aspects about news room department that how the news room department works. This report includes how a programming department at a media channel works, what are the activities performed by the department and what is the importance of it in the organization. Also it includes what were the tasks assigned to me during my internship and a description of knowledge and learning I grasped during the internship program. In discover Pakistan I have work in News room department. I write news headlines, news tickers, and various English and Urdu reports. I have mostly write news headlines and new reports and as well as submitted it to the head of news room department head sir Shazad. Besides this I learn many things like script reading ,script writing, newswriting and mostly things learnt about how to write news headlines, news package, news report, how to write breaking news. What are appropriate words that we should have to used in news headlines in the programming department and learnt almost all the aspects of a TV program such as script reading, writing, voiceovers, and news broadcasting and anchoring. The department is responsible for the recording of various programs that goes on air. It is considered the main department of the channel and continues working 24 hours a day. 3. In first two weeks I learnt about how discover Pakistan news headlines are written .First week of my internship I have write news headlines for the department as well as well submitted to the news department to sir Shazad news room incharge. Second week the task that was assigned to it was right a news report. First report I right and sir asked to tell me write the report in such a way as it is requirement of the department .News report and the weather have written and Ashura I have also write a report that I have submitted into the department. One day aa task assigned to us that was about reporting on the weather. We have get experience how write appropriate words for the reporting and as well as how to speak well these words .So we have done a Report on weather .As its raining we have to report on the it.So in this way I get experience for reporting we have to speak on it confidential as well as we have good knowledge on the topic in which we are going to report.
