dc.description.abstract The aim of the current study was to find out workplace ostracism as a predictor of burnout and intentional turnover. In this correlational study, convenient sampling strategy was implemented and participants were employees from different universities (3 private, 3 public) aged ranged 25-60 (M=37 SD= 7.3). Workplace Ostracism Scale (WOS), Turnover Intentional Scale (TIS) and Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT) were used to assess the predicting role of workplace ostracism between burnout and intentional turnover. Results indicated the significant predicting role of workplace ostracism in employees between burnout and intentional turnover. The result of the research shows that the workplace ostracism has a positive and significant relationship with burnout and intentional turnover. The present research provides a comprehensive understanding of the negative effects of ostracism on the workplace. This study provides direction to organizations to invest in training their workers regarding the effective management of their emotions with theoretical and practical perspectives. Organizations can develop good relationships among their employees by effective implementation of study results. en_US
