dc.description.abstract Imagine that you live in a house where everyone feels comfortable and can navigate easily, they can move around with confidence. The vision for this thesis is how to make it possible for families which are deaf and blind, or any other such people with sensory dysfunction. The research discovered that simple sensory cues like tactile markers or visual alerts, could make a very big difference and create spaces that are inclusive for everyone. Inclusive design is not only about accessibility and navigation, but it also promotes independence, safety, boosts social interactions and overall wellbeing. Having all these things in mind, designing spaces that support all of them can help in building a society where everyone can grow and feel at home. en_US
