dc.description.abstract In thisthesis,weexplorestaticsphericallysymmetricchargedwormhole solutions inextendedteleparallelgravitytakingvariousviable f(T) mod- els. WeconsidernoncommutativegeometryunderLorentziandistribution and apointchargewhichissphericallydistributedtodevelopelectrostatic field. Wedevelopfieldequationsbyusingeffectiveenergy-momentumten- sor fornon-diagonaltetrad.Forpower-law f(T) modelswhichalsoincludes teleparallel gravitycase,theviolationofenergyconditionsobtainbyexotic matter througheffectiveenergy-momentumtensortoformwormholesolu- tions inteleparallelcasewhilephysicalacceptablewormholesolutionsex- ist forchargednoncommutativewormholesolutionsforsomecasesin f(T) case. Also,weensurethestability/equilibriumforthesesolutionsbyconsid- ering thegeneralizedTolman-Oppenheimer-Volkovequationforanisotropic mass distribution.Theequilibriumconditionmeetsfortheteleparallelcase and somepower-lawsolutionswhileremainingsolutionsareeitherinless equilibrium orindisequilibriumsituation. Further,weworkinsamescenariotoexploresolutionsbyconsidering exponential,logarithmicandcombined(involvingexponentialandlogarith- mic terms) f(T) modelsandconcludethatphysicalacceptablewormhole solutions exist.Wealso,checkthestabilityforthesesolutionsbyequi- librium condition.Theequilibriumconditionobtainedforthesesolutions expresses lessequilibriumsituation.Oncomparison,wefindoutthatas compared topower-law f(T) models,morestablewormholesolutionsare obtain forexponential,logarithmicandcombinedcasesatisfyingenergy condition. en_US
