dc.description.abstract The primary objective of this research is to demonstrate an improved method of building consensus using average operator in Incomplete Multiplicative Preference Relations (IM- PRs) through multiplicative consistency. Firstly, we transform the Multiplicative Prefer- ence Relations (MPRs) into Reciprocal Preference Relations (RPRs) and then we estimate the unknown values of Incomplete Reciprocal Preference Relations (IRPR) based on multi- plicative transitivity. After this, we move towards the development of consistency matrices proposed by the experts that satisfy and measure the consistency level. The preference degrees attributed to the experts according to the consistency weights are aggregated with the consistent weights. Thus, this new method provides us with a useful means of reaching consensus in decision-making by several people on the basis of a multiplicative coherence with incomplete preference relations. en_US
