Abstract

Environment can be totally changed by using the power of architecture. Relating to that by changing the environment we can cure drug addiction. As we know that environment can be intangible that is social, economic, political etc. and also tangible which we consider as the physical environment or the built part of the environment on which we need to focus througharchitecture. Different environmental codes can be used which can help in the path of recovery for drug addicts. Architecture can become a road of recovery for them by giving them space that interacts physically, emotionally, and psychologically. A space builds the strength to surpassphysical and psychological obstacles on the road of recovery providing them the means of understanding them what when wrong and how to work through it.
