Abstract:
This study is set out with the purpose of investigating the impact of corrupt actions on project performance. This investigation is based upon behavioral factors like “corrupt action”, “intention to achieve a goal” and “perceived behavior control” which is used as a moderator between intension and corrupt actions. By literature it is shown that the recent studies focused on how the desires, intension to achieve a private or professional goal, and perceived behavior control leads a person towards corrupt actions but its effect on the project performance was neglected. So, this study focuses on how these corrupt actions effect of project performance. The data was collected through structured questionnaire which contain closed-ended and reverse-coded questions. And the data collection was done on the managerial level from project managers of construction industry who have experience of projects through email or personal meeting, and interviews.
