dc.description.abstract Wapda town is a premier area of Lahore city. This area has been rapidly developed in the recent decade but it has failed to perform well on a community level as most of the families don’t know their neighbors. Its residents are mostly upper middle-class professionals, businessmen and retired people. Socialization and leisure are extremely popular and effective activity to promote social interaction as is evident by Nespak and behria town. A community club in the area of Wapda town can easily achieve a status of landmark and serve as a value addition to the society en_US
